Ryanne Mitchell, MA, LPC
Ryanne Mitchell is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been providing therapeutic services to Tulsa area children, teens, and adults since 2010. Ryanne is known for her caring, warm, and insightful approach to counseling. As no one treatment approach is right for everyone, Ryanne has training and experience in a range of treatment approaches and modalities, including psychodynamic, somatic or body-oriented psychotherapy, expressive arts therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
Ryanne graduated with honors from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, with a Master of Arts in Expressive Arts Therapy, Mental Health Counseling Specialization. She also obtained specialized training in psychodrama at the Moreno Institute East in Easthampton, MA. Former Clinical Director and Pathways to Eating Disorder Treatment Coordinator and Therapist at Brookhaven Hospital, Ryanne has extensive knowledge and experience in the treatment of eating disorders, including treating co-morbid conditions. She has extensive education, training, and experience in treating eating disorders, substance abuse and addiction, trauma, personality disorders, and many other mental health concerns. Ryanne is a frequent speaker and presenter and welcomes new opportunities to provide outreach and education to professionals, organizations, and community members.
